At last, you, too, can achieve great mastering.
Mastering – a step by step guide to good sound by monolake
Sadly, as Robert Henke concedes:
i still think it needs to be louder and it lacks dynamics and punch. I STILL THINK IT NEEDS TO BE LOUDER AND IT LACKS DYNAMICS AND PUNCH!
It’s like banging your head against a brick wall.

Park Here is a really unique indoor pop-up park run by Openhouse Gallery in New York City’s Nolita neighborhood. The free park is open for just three months and has been filled with green NewGrass (an eco-friendly artificial grass), hammocks, giant bean bags and food carts. Be sure to sign up for their newsletter to learn of the great events that will be happening there this winter (like the Nerd Nite Trivia Battle on February 2). The park will be open until February 15, 2012.
It’s a pop-up park in the heart of Nolita that’s blooming when nothing else is. Plush grass, beautiful foliage, picnic blankets, oversized bean bags and hammocks. Blazing fast WiFi, picnic benches, bistro tables and a smashing playlist. Food and drink vendors, trivia and movie nights, afternoon tea. Mornings exclusively for moms and kids.

If your teenaged years were anything like mine, the soundtrack to your angst-ridden after school hours was often provided by Canadian post-rockers Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and whatever personal turmoil you felt seemed best expressed by anarchist voice samples streamed over stirring instrumentals. But now, you can stop listening to that disgruntled guy talk about how he used to sleep on the beach at Coney Island over and over again and tune into a real-time soundtrack of social turmoil.
You are Listening To is a website that mixes live streams of police radio chatter from New York, Los Angeles and other North American cities with SoundCloud ambient radio, creating a chilling score to accompany images of nighttime cityscapes. As creator Eric Eberhardt told Hyperallergic, the concept came to him when he tuned into soma.fm to listen to the chatter of his city after an epic finale to the World Series. He was struck when he layered the police radio over background music from his own music collection. You are Listening To is the product of his experimentation, a poignant way of tapping into the heartbeat of the city and a testament to the ability of sound to shape our landscape.

The AirPort Express uses 802.11n to play iTunes over your wireless network to your home stereo. It also acts as a wireless router and performs wireless USB printer sharing.
Of note, this item does not carry a warranty, however, a 30-day in-store / online return policy applies.
