so my total in change was $70.62 so i was able to buy like 6 books!

so… i’m usually skeptical of things that have star in their name. i know people that are wrapped up in the whole quick-star phenomenon. i know matt and i were meeting at panara as we normally do every week and we heard these guys talking about quick-star and it annoyed the hell out of both of us…anyways back to my point… so i know you’ve seen those coin counters in harris teeter. normally there is an underlying fee that you have to pay for the counting service but here is the catch. if you buy things on amazon.com a lot and you want to get a gift card instead of straight money there is no fee. so basically i have decided that i am going to buy all my books from now on with the loose change i get each week. that just sits in my room sad and alone. i can’t wait to go home to virginia because i have like this HUGE tub of change that i am going to bring back with me to get money on my amazon card. it will be great. so then i can just start buying books online. i like to take advantage of the used books. i’ve had really good luck with that section of amazon. if by chance you are reading this and say… hmm i want to buy jeremy books you can check out my book wishlist here.

so i was thinking as i sit here and try to line up tracks in pro tools, i’m beginning to realize that everything i have been doing and thinking lately is a lot like this very task. you see, the tracks were on two differnt computers cause we dont have the capability at vintage to record 16 tracks on 1 computer (just 8). this is to say that it is now my job to go thru and make sure that the 8 tracks from the second computer are lined up. once you get one lined up the rest just fall in place, but until you get that first track lined up it all just sounds like utter chaos in the monitors…

so i feel like my life is a lot like this process. as jeff would say… “i think there is something profound in that, i’m just not sure what.”

why is it that the first few layers of coffee and tea are always nice and pleasent and then all of a sudden you take a sip and …. BAM…. POW… ZAP… (those are just a few batman explitives to use) your tounge is a rosty tosty golden brown. thats right burnt to a crisp… oh well… thats what i get for having free coffee anytime i want it. (good ole brueggers’s mug)

today is a day filled with mixing music and staring at the trees outside of my apartment. (very common day for me… but i like it)
